Scope of Work
Aluminum window and door installation at 228 13th Street in Brooklyn, on the Kleidco window and door system. Alex GC supplied the units and installed them, and sealed and weatherproofed the perimeter of every opening as part of the same visit — the part of the job that decides whether the building stays dry, and the part most often left to someone else.
Why the Opening Matters as Much as the Unit
A window is only as good as the joint between its frame and the wall. On a project like this the units arrive factory-sealed, and the risk sits entirely at the perimeter: the gap between the frame and the masonry, the sill, and the head. We flash and seal those joints ourselves rather than leaving them to a following trade, because a call-back for a leak is almost never about the window and almost always about the opening.
