Takes drawings, surveys and photographs and turns them into a priced scope. This is where a specification gets checked against what can actually be built — tested size limits, frame depths, hardware inside the tested assembly, whether an opening will satisfy the ventilation calculation. Catching a problem here costs a phone call; catching it after fabrication costs the glass.
Runs the job from order to handover: lead times, deliveries, access arrangements, building rules, permits where the work is over a public way, and coordination with the general contractor's programme. On a building-wide job this is most of the work, because the glazing is rarely the constraint — access, occupancy and sequencing are.
Our Staten Island shop, where glass is cut, edged, drilled and processed, and where aluminium window and door systems are built to the surveyed opening. Everything that has to happen before tempering happens here, because nothing can be changed afterwards.
Our own installers rather than subcontracted labour. They work in occupied buildings, which sets the standard: floors and routes protected before anything is removed, one opening at a time, nothing left unsecured overnight, and the site left clean.
On tilt-and-turn and multi-point systems, the adjustment at handover matters more than on simpler windows. Those systems want setting rather than forcing, and a crew that knows the difference is worth having.

For contractors and architects — send drawings and we will quote against them. If something on the drawing will not build, we will tell you before it is ordered rather than after.
