Hudson County is the closest thing New Jersey has to a sixth borough and we treat it that way: 237 Central Avenue in Jersey City is a commercial storefront with curtain wall and aluminum doors; 829 Garfield Avenue is a floor-to-ceiling gym mirror wall in a new residential building; 168-172 Ocean Avenue is a residential building entrance replacement. Newark is the next ring: 66 McWhorter Street in the Ironbound is a new building with an aluminum storefront and uPVC windows, and the Newark Public Library has our automatic narrow-stile swing doors and glass office partitions.
The suburbs are houses and sunrooms: the laminated-glass sunroom in Closter, a sunroom renovation in Morristown with our own aluminum casements and bifolds, a glass-roof sunroom on a raised deck in Manalapan, black aluminum windows with four arches in Somerset, a six-foot round window in Lakewood. New Jersey has no central Department of Buildings; each municipality’s construction office issues the permit under the state Uniform Construction Code, and replacement windows, storefronts, railings and sunrooms generally need one. We file it with the product data, the shop drawings and the energy numbers the construction official asks for, and we schedule the inspections. Historic preservation commissions in Montclair, Princeton, Morristown, Jersey City and Hoboken review street-facing facades the way the Landmarks Commission does in New York, and we prepare that submission. Condominium and HOA approvals are handled with the board. At the Shore the flood zone and the wind exposure set the specification: laminated or impact-rated glass where required, marine-grade finishes, stainless hardware.

Yes. We file the municipal construction permit with product data, shop drawings and energy numbers, schedule the inspections, prepare historic preservation submissions in Montclair, Princeton, Morristown, Jersey City and Hoboken, and handle condominium and HOA approvals.
Stocked and fabricated lines run three to twelve weeks from the approved drawings; imported European systems and factory-direct container orders three to four months. Installation on a house or an apartment runs one to a few days; a whole building is scheduled floor by floor.
