Brand-level specification, ordered directly from the manufacturer
Alongside the branded lines we carry, we offer a general, non-branded aluminum system as its own product line. We order it directly from the manufacturers that extrude and assemble it, with no brand name and no distributor in between. The systems are chosen to match the quality of the branded products we install, and because the brand premium is gone, the same opening costs less.
The line covers aluminum windows, doors, sliding doors, storefront and curtain wall, for residential and commercial work, new construction and replacement.
A branded system and a non-branded system are built from the same kinds of parts: an extruded aluminum profile, a thermal break, gaskets, hardware and glass. What the brand adds is a name, a catalog and a distribution network, and those are part of its price. When we order directly from the manufacturer, that part of the price is not there.
Choose the non-branded line when the drawings describe performance rather than a brand, when the budget is tight and the look and performance of a branded system are still wanted, and on private houses, storefronts and small buildings where nobody requires a named manufacturer.
Choose a brand such as Cortizo, Reynaers or Alutech when the specification names it, when the architect, lender or the Landmarks Commission requires it, or when the job needs a particular published test report. Tell us about any required rating before we quote and we will confirm which system carries it.

A non-branded system is installed exactly as a branded one. We survey before the order, produce shop drawings for approval, and install with our own crews, with sill pans, flashing and perimeter seals on every opening. Where an opening needs more than that, see waterproofing.
Send us the window or door schedule, or photographs of the openings with rough sizes, and tell us the building type and whether an architect, a co-op board or the Landmarks Commission is involved. We come back with the system that fits, the glass and hardware named, and a price. For projects outside our installation area we supply by container. See request a quote.

We select non-branded systems to match the specification of the branded systems we carry: thermally broken profiles, insulated low-E glass and multi-point hardware. Every quote names the profile depth, thermal break, hardware and glass so you can compare it line by line with a branded quote.

We do. Survey, shop drawings, installation, flashing and sealing are by our own crews, and we handle parts and service after handover.
