Antique mirror is mirror with the silver deliberately aged, so the reflection is broken by mottling, veining and soft dark areas the way an old mirror looks after a century. It has become one of the most requested finishes we handle: restaurant and bar walls, kitchen backsplashes, powder rooms, headboards, furniture fronts and cabinet inserts.
We supply it cut to size. Send the dimensions, or let us survey, and we cut the panels in our shop with polished or beveled edges, cut-outs for outlets and fixtures, and holes for hardware. For a wall we lay out the panels from the same batch so the tone is consistent, and we show you the layout before cutting. Installation is with mastic and mechanical support like any mirror, with safety backing where it is required. Our antique mirror range is expanding. Each design is a different pattern of aging, from light, cool veining that keeps most of the reflection to heavy, warm mottling that reads as aged metal first and mirror second. Two of the designs now in stock:

We are building a product gallery page for our glass and mirror: every antique mirror design with its own photograph, the thickness and sheet sizes available, and a description of where it is used, alongside our clear and Starphire glass, decorative glass such as rain, Aqualite and obscured patterns, and our clear, black, bronze and smoke mirror. Each product will have a short entry and a full description with a designer's note on where it works best. The page will be announced here when it goes live.
Our architectural glass and decorative glass are available for customers to review: Starphire low-iron glass, frosted and obscured glass, rain and Aqualite patterns, laminated colored glass and back-painted glass. Samples of several products are available to order so you can see the glass against your tile, stone or paint before committing to a full panel.
